How your score is updated.
The process starts with you handing in a completed score card at the completion of the shoot, the card is then checked by a committee member and entered into a form on a smart phone. The data appears immediately onto the PSA website spreadsheet as a form response. The score person gets an email to check the response, if the response meets the criteria of being a financial PSA and 3DAAA member the score is accepted onto the score spreadsheet. If you disagree with the form response you can contact a committee member.
So that scores are only visible to members on the he PSA website spreadsheet, club members need to click on the spreadsheet to request access this will be granted by the Webmaster.
The score is listed as an attendance of a club shoot (you must complete 5 attendances to be eligible for a trophy). There is an average given from previous scores for the year so you know how your going.
The spreadsheet takes your 5 top scores to give and aggregate of these scores. If you have a bad shoot day it won't affect your good shoot days quite as much.
The aggregate is used to pick the trophy winners for each division for the year with presentation day at our PSA Xmas party.
This year we are not counting 11’s it's just a 10.
So hopefully with practice and competing often your aggregate score will improve over the year, and you get a trophy 🏆.
